ADVANCED AUTOSET ALGORITHM ADJUSTS TO YOUR SLEEP NEEDS
ResMed's AutoSet algorithm is proven to provide effective therapy, at the lowest pressure levels, on a breath by breath basis throughout the night. The AutoSet algorithm monitors your breathing and, when it detects flow limitations, it gently increases pressure until the event has cleared. After an event AutoSet decreases pressure again to improve overall sleep comfort. In addition, AirSense 10 AutoSet differentiates between obstructive and central apneas so you'll always be sure you're getting the appropriate therapy for your changing needs.
INTELLIGENT & QUIET OPERATION
AirSense 10's whisper quiet, Easy-Breathe motor makes for a peaceful environment for you and your bed partner. In addition AirSense 10 AutoSet has an ambient light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the amount of light in the room. So if you get up during the night and need to pause your therapy, the screen will stay dim so it doesn't disrupt your partner. The screen's back light also turns off automatically to help you fall back to sleep without disturbance.
BUILT-IN HUMIDAIR HUMIDIFIER
Heated humidification helps patients to sleep better and longer, without dry mouth or discomfort, during APAP therapy. ResMed's HumidAir Humidifier is built directly into the AirSense 10 so it is much smaller and simpler than other "integrated" humidifier options. The AirSense's HumidAir humidifier is easily adjustable from the "My Options" screen on the device. You can turn humidity off completely or choose levels from 1 to 8, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 8 is the highest.
SMARTSTART & AUTO STOP CONVENIENCE
The AirSense 10's SmartStart function begins your sleep apnea therapy as soon as you breathe into your mask. When you remove your mask, it stops automatically after a few seconds. Really, what could be more simple!
EXPIRATORY PRESSURE RELIEF (EPR)
ResMed's EPR (Expiratory Pressure Relief) feature reduces the work of breathing during exhalation providing a gentler pressure that naturally adapts to your breathing cycle throughout the night. EPR can be turned off entirely or you can choose levels from 1 to 3, where 1 is the minimum pressure relief and 3 is the maximum.
AUTORAMP WITH SLEEP ONSET DETECTION
AirSense 10's AutoRamp feature with sleep onset detection helps make therapy comfortable from the moment you turn on your device. AutoRamp works by delivering a low pressure to help you fall asleep with ease. Once it detects you’re asleep, it comfortably increases the pressure to ensure your prescribed level is delivered the moment you need it.
SLIM & HEATED TUBING OPTIONS
AirSense 10 AutoSet comes with ResMed's premium ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing to help eliminate rainout and optimize comfort. Ultra-light SlimLine CPAP tubing, which is 40% lighter than traditional CPAP tubing, is also available as a non-heated tubing option.
CLIMATE CONTROL WITH CLIMATELINEAIR TUBING
When you use ClimateLineAir Tubing with the AirSense 10 the system's advanced Climate Control features are activated. Climate Control is an intelligent system that adapts to changes in room temperature, pressure flow, and mask and mouth leak, to provide constant, comfortable temperatures and humidity levels during sleep therapy. With Climate Control and ClimateLineAir Tubing your machine will maintain a set temperature and relative humidity at the mask while you sleep while minimizing condensation and rainout.
INTELLIGENT THERAPY TRACKING & ON SCREEN DISPLAY
AirSense 10 AutoSet's onboard "Sleep Report" is a valuable tool letting you know how your therapy is progressing each day. In the Sleep Report you can view usage hours, mask seal indicators, humidification indicators, events per hour of use, average usage hours, leak rate, and AHI. The AirSense 10 AutoSet also includes central sleep apnea (CSA) and Cheyne–Stokes respiration (CSR) detection to provide treating physicians valuable insight into the continued health of your patients.
AirSense 10 includes onboard therapy data storage with built in wireless communications so you and your doctor can review therapy progress and work together to ensure your treatment is progressing successfully.
MYAIR PERSONALIZED THERAPY SUPPORT
Like your own sleep coach, ResMed's new optional online program, myAir, provides support during every stage of treatment. By giving you access to your therapy data, it lets you continually track your progress and see how well you’re doing. Emails or text messages can also provide helpful education and encouragement to support you along the way. As you mark your successes and celebrate your milestones with awards and badges, you’ll stay motivated to keep going. Good machine, like it better than the 11
This is quieter than the new Resmed 11. The reservoir is much easier to fill than the 11. The machine and case are very slightly larger than the 11, but not enough to be meaningful when packing for a trip. The climate hose is poorly designed compared to the 11 -- it has a right angle in it, making it impossible to get a long air hose tube through it completely for washing.

calm machine. I bought it to replace Respironics dreamstation 2 that started to get very hot. the problem is : I am unable to change the ramp level. it is set on auto but it is too high. too much air. It caused me to stay awake . I tried to lower the settings , it did not work. It is asking me to take it to my doctor who said check with the company that sold it.

I don't write too many reviews, but this machine deserves one. I've been a C-Pap user 15+ years. So many years that my first Respironics machine was not an auto-pressure sensing unit. I have two DeVilbiss Intelipap machines; one with 18,000 hours on it that I use for travel and the other one with 7,000 hours on it that I planned to continue to use even after buying this ResMed AirSense Card-to-Cloud machine. I bought the Air Sense because I knew at some point, I'd need another machine and DeVilbiss no longer makes machines. However, when I got it, I realized that it does not adjust the presure for 10' tubes (I've always put my machines on the floor vs. a nightstand). Between that and inadvertantly indicating in the settings that I wear a nasal mask and not nose pillows (more pressure would be applied to nose pillows), I wasn't getting enough air volume. Thank goodness I opened up the 6' hose and made the pillow adjustment before sending it back. IT'S AN AWESOME MACHINE. Both the DeVilbiss and AirSense machines are rated at 26 decibels, but the AirSense is so quiet that I can use it on the nightstand; in fact, I can't even hear it. I'm using the heated air tube, too, and what a difference that makes. No more waterboarding and the hoses are always nice and dry (sanitary). Lastly, I bought the card-to-cloud machine because the only difference between it and the next step up is a bluetooth to your phone. After 15+ years, I know if I'm getting a good night sleep or not. I put the Devilbiss machine away and this one is my to go-to unit. Highly, highly recommended. Oh, and a thumbs-up to DirectHomeMedical; great to deal with.

Good Service, could be clearer on product shortcomings
You guys were great in terms of service. Website clear. Ordering easy. Fast fulfillment. However, when I got the unit, I now see that it has differences from the one I was hoping I could get - specifically related to programming pressure. It works, but wish that had been clearer.

Super quiet
I’m in the first month but I am feeling better when I wake up. I thought it would be noisy and keep my wife awake, but it is super quiet. As long as I have my mask adjusted properly, I barely hear it. I love the fact that it automatically senses what pressure I need. The automatic lead in time so that I can get to sleep is awesome. It did take me a couple of weeks to get used to wearing the nose pillow. But the videos have helped me to know what to expect and overcome my challenges. I also like the phone app that lets me know how I am doing each night. ResMed even sends video and email help based upon my unique usage.

Pleased with the AirSense 10 AutoSet Auto-CPAP
My wife and I both have used a AirSense 10 AutoSet Auto-CPAP for some time now. I work during the week in one state and we travel home for the weekend 150 miles away. Even though this machine comes with a nice case and is easy to pack and unpack, it was still a hassle. So, we had some HSA money and decided it would be work it to have a set of machines at both locations and have not regretted that.
