Fast, Efficient, and Convenient

I had an old CPAP Machine that gave a warning that the motor exceeded its life expectancy so I was pressed for time not know how much longer it would last. My new pulmonologist sent a prescription to Apria. After a month and several follow-up calls they cancelled my order without warning, saying my insurance required a new or original sleep study as proof of need. I've been using a CPAP for 18 years. I told Apria that due to my high deductible I'd have to pay out of pocket anyway and we're at the end of the year so going through my insurance first was an unnecessary waste of time. They didn't listen due to their inflexible process. I had dealt with Direct Home Medical for other supplies and was pleased with their service so I asked my pulmonologist to send the prescription which I uploaded to their site to get a new CPAP which arrived in less than 5 days! I was in need and they came through quickly without the added unnecessary bureaucracy typical of most DME suppliers.
