At DirectHomeMedical, we make it easy to get the sleep, respiratory and oxygen supplies you need--fast. This page explains how we handle shipping and medical equipment delivery so you’ll know exactly what to expect when you shop with us.
FREE STANDARD SHIPPING OVER $49
We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $49 so whether you’re ordering CPAP supplies, oxygen accessories, or other medical equipment, shipping is always on us on orders over $49. Free Standard Shipping packages may be shipped via UPS or USPS depending on service availability and price. If you’d like your order even faster, or within a specific timeframe, you can upgrade to a variety of expedited UPS or USPS shipping options during checkout.
WHERE WE SHIP
We ship nationwide to all 50 states and U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. USPS shipping is available to PO Boxes, so you can receive your medical supplies wherever you are. We also ship to military APO and FPO addresses using USPS First Class or Priority Mail, ensuring service members and their families have access to essential medical equipment. Please note that USPS Express Mail is not available for APO or FPO destinations.
PRESCRIPTION ORDERS
Some of the products we offer--like sleep therapy devices, oxygen concentrators, nebulizer compressors, and some accessories--are prescription items. Federal law requires DirectHomeMedical to have a valid prescription on file before shipping such items. Please review our prescription policies page for additional information.
HOW QUICKLY WE SHIP
We know how important timely delivery is when it comes to medical supplies. That’s why more than 95% of our orders ship within one business day, Monday through Friday. Orders placed before 3:00 pm Eastern Time typically ship the same day, while express or overnight orders placed before 2:00 pm Eastern are prioritized for fastest delivery. Prescription products ship as soon as we have your prescription on file, so you never experience unnecessary delays.
TRACKING YOUR PACKAGE
Every shipment comes with tracking, so you’ll always know where your order is. As soon as your package leaves our warehouse, we’ll send you an email with a tracking number that links directly to USPS or UPS. (Please add our email address -- careteam@directhomemedical.com -- to your address book so our emails are sure to get through to you.)
For added security, orders valued at over $600 automatically require a signature on delivery. If your order is below that amount, you can still request signature confirmation via email, live chat, or by calling toll free 888-505-0212.
SPECIAL SHIPPING RULES FOR BATTERIES
Due to Federal Regulations lithium ion battery packs cannot be shipped via air (or outside of the contiguous 48 states) unless they are contained within a device, like a CPAP machine, nebulizer or oxygen concentrator.
SHIPPING TO REMOTE LOCATIONS
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and other remote areas may have limited service options depending on package size, weight, and value.
THE CARRIERS WE USE
We ship all orders through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). Both are reliable, nationwide carriers with strong delivery networks, ensuring your CPAP supplies and medical equipment arrive quickly and safely. At checkout, you’ll have the option to choose the carrier and shipping speed that works best for you.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) ships to most physical (street) addresses and all PO Boxes within the United States and U.S. Territories. We offer shipping via USPS First Class (5-6 Day Average Transit Time), USPS Priority (2-3 Day Average Transit Time), and USPS Priority Express which is guaranteed in 1-2 business days to most locations within the continental United States.
A Note About Signature Confirmation: Signature confirmation is a standard feature of USPS Priority Express shipments. Upon request we can note on the package that a signature is not required. In such instances it is up to the discretion of the local postal worker whether the package can be left safely without a signature.

The US Postal Service offers deliveries at all service levels 6 days a week (M-S). Delivery on Sundays is not generally available; however during the November-December holiday season USPS does offer some package delivery service in major cities and high volume areas. 2025 Postal Holidays | ||||||
United Parcel Service (UPS) shipping is available to most physical (street) addresses within the United States. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. Shipping charges vary and are displayed during checkout, for reference, prior to service selection. DirectHomeMedical offers UPS shipping at a variety service levels including UPS Ground (1-6 Business Day Transit Time), UPS 3 Day Select (3 Business Day Transit Time), UPS 2nd Day Air (2 Business Day Transit Time), UPS Next Day Air (1 Business Day Transit Time), and UPS Next Day Air with Saturday Delivery. Some service levels may not be available to all locations within these regions.
A Note About UPS Transit Times: UPS calculates package transit times based on a 5-day shipping week. Therefore a package shipped on Friday via 3 Day Select will be delivered on Wednesday and a package shipped on Friday via Next Day Air will be delivered on Monday unless Saturday Delivery is selected. Please take this into account when making your shipping decisions. The map below shows typical transit times for packages shipped via UPS Ground.
A Note About UPS Shipment to Alaska & Hawaii: UPS Next Day Air shipping options are available to Hawaii and Alaska; however true "next day air" delivery IS NOT guaranteed to all locations. If your order is destined for Alaska or Hawaii and you want to confirm that your location qualifies for the UPS Next Day Air delivery guarantee please contact us prior placing your order on our site.

UPS offers deliveries at all service levels 5 days a week. UPS delivers some packages on Saturday, however Saturday delivery is NOT guaranteed unless the "UPS Next Day (with Saturday Delivery)" upgrade is selected.
