The SleepWeaver Advance CPAP Mask is designed around a skin friendly, breathable fabric cushion that inflates during sleep therapy to create a gentle, secure seal. SleepWeaver Advance doesn't have a rigid frame or hard buckles so it's great for side and stomach sleepers; and it's Latex & Silicone Free so it's ideal for allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin. SleepWeaver Advance is available in two sizes -- Regular & Small -- for a comfortable, custom fit on a wide range of users.

TWO SIZES TO FIT A WIDE RANGE OF USERS
SleepWeaver Advance is available in two sizes for a more comfortable, custom fit! As always the Regular SleepWeaver Advance is designed to fit most users and is available in your choice of 5 great color patterns. Available exclusively in beige, the Small SleepWeaver Advance is approximately 15% smaller with updated diffusion vents; and an updated cushion design for users with more petite facial features.

SKIN FRIENDLY SOFT CLOTH CUSHION
The SleepWeaver Advance is constructed entirely of soft cloth so it won't get sticky like traditional nasal cushions; and it has no rigid parts that come into contact with the skin. The breathable, SleepWeaver Advance fabric feels cool, natural, and skin friendly on the face. During therapy the Advance cushion inflates to form a "balloon" of air that pushes gently against the face to form a soft, adaptable cloth seal.

Because cloth is flexible the SleepWeaver Advance's cushion follows the exact shape of each individual face reducing leaks and pinching caused by traditional mask materials. In addition a fine cloth inner lining -- the Zzzephyr Seal -- built into the fabric cushion, shifts gently with you as you move during the night to accommodate changes in sleeping position and facial shape.

SOFT, BREATHABLE HEADGEAR
One benefit of the inflatable design of the SleepWeaver Advance cushion, most users can wear their SleepWeaver headgear more loosely, reducing pressure sores on the bridge of the nose, forehead and other parts of the face. SleepWeaver Advance's updated headgear is soft, yet durable with fabric that whisks moisture and heat away from the user, enhancing comfort. Highly adjustable side straps mean that one headgear size can adjust to fit a very wide range of heads.

NATURALLY QUIET
The SleepWeaver features a series of holes on the front of the mask for exhalation. The design means that breath escapes through a wider area, minimising noise and preventing the concentrated stream of air that often leads to whistling and whooshing noises in other masks. This also allows the exhaled air to disperse more naturally, making exhalation feel more comfortable. Fabric also naturally absorbs sound, rather than the plastic traditionally used which is more likely to create it.

ALLERGY FREE
The soft, breathable, cloth SleepWeaver will leave you hardly aware that you're wearing any CPAP device at all. With natural cloth materials and NO SILICONE OR LATEX, your nostrils will be free, your forehead won't be dented, and you'll be wrinkle-free in the morning.

MACHINE WASHABLE HONESTLY!
The SleepWeaver Advance mask and headgear can be washed in a washing machine with your regular laundry using your usual detergent. Use a gentle cycle with cold or warm water. Never use hot water or a tumble dryer, as this may cause the mask to shrink and disfigure. The SleepWeaver mask will usually hang dry in 1-2 hours. The SleepWeaver can also be hand washed with a mild, non-abrasive hand soap.

MASK DETAILS

Mask Type:
  • Nasal Cushion
Pressure Range:
  • 4-20 CM H2O

What is the Zzzephyr Seal?
The Zzzephr seal is the soft cloth nasal interface that forms the seal with the super soft light weight elastic cloth.

Why does the mask come in different colors?
The SleepWeaver Advance is available in different colors in order to make sleep apnea treatment more appealing to each person's individual style.

Does the SleepWeaver Advance Mask come in different sizes?
Yes, most people will use the "regular" size; but "small" and "pediatric" sizes are also available.

Is the SleepWeaver Advance a specialty mask?
No. The SleepWeaver Advance Nasal PAP Mask is intended to provide an interface for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) or Bi-Level Therapy. The SleepWeaver Advance Nasal PAP Mask is intended for single-patient reuse in the home and multi-patient, multi-use in the hospital/institutional environment. This mask is to be used on patients greater than 66 lbs. (30 kg).

From what material is the mask made?
SleepWeaver Advance's cloth is the same material used to make winter ski clothing. A portion of the mask that contacts the skin contains polyester, nylon, and elastane. The cloth material is "breathable" meaning the material wicks moisture and heat away from the user's skin. You should have no concerns about skin allergies or irritation with this mask. The headgear consists of polyurethane foam, nylon, and lycra.

The swivel fell off my SleepWeaver Advance can it be replaced?
Periodically the tape used to attach the swivel to the mask needs to be replaced. Instructions for replacement are provided.

How long will it take me to become comfortable with the SleepWeaver Advance?
Most patients report after the first night using our SleepWeaver products, that it is the most comfortable mask they have ever tried! However, it can sometimes take longer than one night to become accustomed to new equipment, especially if you are new to CPAP and Sleep therapy. Follow instructions provided by your medical equipment supplier. We also encourage you to view the "Fitting the Mask" video several times, re-read the instructions and to call us for support if you have questions. Once you are comfortable with your new SleepWeaver Advance Mask, you too will experience the restful sleep you have been missing.

In what position can the tubing be run when using a SleepWeaver product?
With SleepWeaver Advance, it is recommended you place the hose down towards your chest, or off to either side. If you wish to direct the tubing over your head, i.e. behind the headboard of the bed, ensure that a sufficient length of tube is available so that no major kinks are in your tubing. Some PAP users connect 2 lengths of tubing to provide a longer hose which allows greater freedom of movement.

Will SleepWeaver Advance work with my existing CPAP or Bi-Level machine?
SleepWeaver products work with all CPAP, Bi-level and auto-titrating systems.

Can I use the Sleep Weaver with a humidifier?
Yes.

Can I use Supplemental Oxygen?
Yes. We recommend that you connect the oxygen line on the outlet of the PAP machine.

16. How do I clean the SleepWeaver Advance Mask?
The mask can be cleaned by hand washing using mild non-abrasive detergent in cold or warm water. Be sure to rinse the mask well after washing. *HANG DRY ONLY (Do NOT dry Mask in Dryer)

Does SleepWeaver Advance have an exhalation valve?
The exhalation "valve" on the SleepWeaver is a series of very small holes that gently and quietly exhaust the exhaled air from the mask. These holes provide quiet operation without creating a jet of air that makes a lot of noise or can blow on the patient's bed partner. The leak rate provided by the exhalation holes is comparable to competitive CPAP masks.

Can the exhalation valve get plugged or clogged?
As long as the mask is properly maintained and washed the exhalation valve will provide consistent exhaust performance.

Can I sleep on my stomach while wearing the SleepWeaver Advance?
Yes. The air pressure in the mask will keep the mask inflated without pressure points. The mask continues to provide CO2 exhalation as long as a portion of the exhalation holes are exposed.

Can I read or watch TV while wearing the mask?
There is a small, unobtrusive, forehead strap that does not obstruct the field of view for reading or watching TV; and patients who wear eyeglasses can read or watch TV with the Mask on.

I have dentures. Can I still wear the mask?
Yes. The SleepWeaver Advance can be worn by patients with dentures.

What if I want to travel with my PAP system?
SleepWeaver (Advance, Élan, 3D and Anew) products are the smallest and lightest masks for travel available. They fold into a very small size when not inflated so they will fit easily into any carrying case you would use to travel with your PAP system.

Is this SleepWeaver Advance Mask FDA registered?
Yes.

Will the mask attach to any brand of machine?
Yes. The fitting on the SleepWeaver Advance fits the 22mm ISO standard which is used on all PAP Machines.

Can I use the SleepWeaver Advance Mask if I have a broken nose of deviated septum?
We have had a number of patients with anatomic issues around the nose report using the SleepWeaver with good success. The pliable nature of the SleepWeaver allows it to conform to the patient’s facial anatomy even if it is not symmetrical.

Does the SleepWeaver Advance address the problems of people who have skin reactions to plastic masks?
The SleepWeaver Advance All Cloth PAP Mask is gentle on the skin. We have had a number of patient’s report that their skin irritation problems disappeared after switching to a SleepWeaver.

Does the cloth mask contain latex?
No. The mask is not made from natural rubber latex.

Does the headgear contain Mercaptobenzothiazole or Mercapto MX?
No.

Does this mask fit a person who has a full beard?
Yes. The inventor of the SleepWeaver Advance has a full beard and wears the mask himself every night.

What is recommended pressure range for SleepWeaver Advance?
We recommend using SleepWeaver Advance at pressures from 4 cm H2O up to 20 cm H2O on CPAP and Bi-Level systems.

Great job.

This is the only mask that works well for me and allows me to sleep through the night. I am only 4'11" tall and have a proportionately small face. The Sleepweaver advanced small mask fits perfectly. When my supplier refused to buy this mask for me, I called the company that makes the mask and found that with my physicians approval, that I could by the mask directly from you. If you only could deal directly with Medicare. I would be delighted to use only your company.

Good Concept but...

Being a slide sleeper I thought this was going to be a great solution. Pro's: Does not feel invasive, very comfortable and has a lot of adjustment, easy on and off, lightweight. Cons: leaks at bridge of nose. No matter what I tried I could not stop the air blowing at my eyes. Maybe a revisit to tweak this issue. If they could find a way to fix this I would consider trying it again. Had to request a return.

Wonderful for Silicon Skin Allergy

I tried 3 different SleepWeaver masks because I have a skin allergy to silicon which is what many masks are made of. This model works well for me. I find it comfortable to sleep in, but it will shift on you a little if you move from your back to your side because the mask is cloth and flexible. However, after a couple of weeks, I am finding that I reposition it in my sleep and don’t wake up to whistling air anymore. My BiPAP machine also seems to confirm I am repositioning the mask in my sleep as I am not having the higher number of “Mask On/Off” readings I was in the first week of using this mask. Another thing to be aware of with the cloth mask is that gravity on the hose can sometimes cause the hose connection on the mask to turn a little sideways when you turn then you feel the connector on your face. I resolved this by elevating the hose instead of just letting it lay wherever it may fall. I have a short open back bookcase by the bed and found a countertop free-standing hand towel holder which I velcro strapped to the shelf so it wouldn’t fall over and conk me in the head while sleeping. I put the hose on the towel holder and secured it onto the towel holder with velcro. This helped take weight off the hose so it’s not falling off the bed, pulling on the mask and making the connector on the mask poke my face. The mask is good quality and comfortable for me. I’m glad I found it. I have a miniscule amount of air leak up by the top of my nose on both sides, but it is not bothersome or affecting the operation of the BiPAP machine. This is the best mask for me, after having tried many.

Great over all

Only wish was that there was one that was sized in-between the small and regular.

Doesn’t fit well

I’ve had these in the past and liked it, but this one doesn’t seem to feet right, but after trying it a couple times I don’t feel right trying to return it.

Vert soft mask but leaks

I love this mask as it’s so soft but it will leak. Squeals when it leaks which is annoying. I have tried wearing it for several weeks but finally went back to old mask due to it leaking constantly. Tighten it up to stop the mask leaking and that will work for a little while then as soon as you move it leaks. I was really hoping it would work as it is very comfortable to wear.

Stretching

The mask seems to be a little smaller now in the cloth area. The rest of the head gear stretches out quickly and becomes unusable after about 1 month. And then once it stretches and the velcro doesn't meet (at the 2 strings from the top of the nose) there's no where else to connect the velcro and then it's time to throw away as the mask won't seal anymore. Still........I don't feel like this mask is a bad deal.....just not a great one. Thank you!

Leaks with any movement.

I didn't have too much trouble adjusting the mask for no leaks until I fell asleep. Then any head or face movement caused it to leak. Easy to readjust and stop leaks, but again any movement caused a leak. In addition if the hose moved off center line of the mask, the material at the point of connection of the hose inlet to the material caused the end of the mask to kink and restrict air flow. The second night required frequent readjustment of the mask. Other than leaks and kinks, (even with the additional flex hose), the mask is light and comfortable. I wanted it to work, but gave up and returned it.

So much better

This was so much better than my pillows. It doesn't hurt the inside of my nose.

Best Mask I have had

Very comfortable. Very soft. The headgear is a little funky but still a great mask.

Excellent

Headgear is soft and extremely comfortable

The only mask I can wear

It takes a couple nights to get this mask adjusted to your comfort level because you don’t tighten it up like other masks, but once you do, I will show you, you will never wear another mask again. Not bulky, great, for any sleeping position does not irritate the face.

Soft sleeping

For years struggling with hard masks and a rash on my nose from the irritation and I was ready to quit. I know so many people who quit wearing the masks they were offered because they were hard or irritation. A doctor would not give me a note wen I had pnuemonia in April 2003 andI had to work for a year being ill. 14 months later I went to a different doctor who said I damaged my lungs working ill and also had sleep apnea. A friend suggested a cloth mask but I never heard of one. Since the first night with the soft fabric mask, I never went back. In 2015 I was exposed to smoke inhalation and got very ill. Oxygen ever since. I have paid more but this mask was only $46.50 on sale. Best price I've ever paid.

Things have changed

I used the SleepWeaver for nearly 12 years. I tried a different mask last time and was not completely satisfied, so I thought I would go back. Things have changed. I have been unable to get a good seal and there seem to be a seam that irritates the underside of my nose. I am a slide sleeper and that was one of the things SleepWeaver did best. Not anymore. When I try to sleep on my side, the seal is completely broken. Thank goodness I hadn't thrown my old mask away! While I am not completely satisfied, it works.

Description was a little unclear

While I am happy with the price I paid the mask itself is a bit unusual. It is cloth with a tube insert. I found it to be a bit uncomfortable The hose that was included (free) hooked up to it but I needed another hose to hook it to the CPAP machine.
