Nasal Cushion with Silicone Seal for F&P Zest & Zest Q CPAP Masks

I was able to find my old order and just re-order. Easy Unfortunately my husband has a new mask that is larger so I have to re-order but bigger.

I have tried several of the silicone seals over the last few years and find that when I open up the package, invariably, the seal is warped to some degree. The way the packaging is done allows the seal to warp, which, in turn, does not allow for a good seal when using with the CPAP machine. There is whistling and gaps between skin and seal so I know the entire apparatus is not working properly. I usually wake up with the driest mouth and so have to use Biotene to get rid of the dryness. My suggestion is to package the seal plus cushion with a cover. When I need an entire head piece, the cushion/seal has a gray plastic cover to protect it. It would probably cost more to package it that way, but if if you want the CPAP machine to work at highest efficiency, I feel this needs to be done.

The new seal pack ended problems experienced with the two-year-old version, which should have been replaced after 9-12 months.

I just recently ordered and received this new mask insert/seal and it is very good. The seal is great, it seems lighter and more comfortable than previous models. The best proof is I am sleeping the entire night now without waking up and adjusting it (or as is often the case, just pulling it off my head) with the end result being a really good and deep night of sleep.

After trying 4 different masks I found the one that fit. I love this mask...unfortunately my dog decided he loved the mask insert. I was worried I was going to have to buy a whole new mask. To my delight Direct Home Medical sold the inserts separately. I believe I ordered on a Thursday and rec'd the package that Monday. Excellent service. Thanks!
