Air Outlet Adapter for AirSense 11 CPAP & AirCurve 11 BiLevel Machines
ResMed's Air Outlet Adapter fits on the back of all AirSense 11 Series CPAP and AirCurve 11 BiLevel machines. The Air Outlet Adapter must be properly installed whenever the device is in use.
USAGE: The Air Outlet Adapter should not need to be removed from your AirSense 11 sleep therapy device unless the adapter is damaged or needs to be cleaned. To remove the Air Outlet Adapter from your CPAP machine, press the release clip located inside the machine (where the humidifier chamber usually sits) and then pull the adapter out through the rear of the device. My resmed11 makes a crazy loud racket for those times the water humidifier tank seems to not make a great seal. I'd pull the tank and push it back in, which is very irritating since I was about to fall asleep. This ResMed 39220 outlet adapter replaced the old one. It was easy to remove and install, and now my machine is QUIET and again reliable. Thank you Direct Home Medical.

Works Appropriately; Reasonably Priced
The Air Outlet Adapter is the weakest design element of the Resmed Air Sense 11. Moreover, it does not constitute part of the quarterly tranche of supplies furnished by my provider. Fortunately, it readily was purchasable at DirectHomeMedical, unlike the Resmed website, and has worked well. Indeed, I bought two and have been happy with their performance.
