ResMed's Long Life Dishwasher Safe Humidifier Water Chamber is designed for use with the HumidAir Humidifier in all AirSense 11 Series CPAP machines. It can be easily disassembled and washed in the dishwasher or cleaned by hand.
CLEANING & CARE: This chamber IS dishwasher safe. It should be disassembled and cleaned weekly in the dishwasher or by hand with warm water and a mild detergent. Once clean it should be allowed to dry out completely, out of direct sunlight and/or heat, before reinstalling in your sleep therapy device. Replace as needed on average every 2 years. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.
USAGE: Drinking quality water may be used with this water chamber. A water chamber must always be installed in the AirSense 11 device for it to work properly, unless a side cover is attached. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

1 year warranty 2 -2/12 year life not hardly
Mine cracked after 21 days, they replaced it. But I’m really disappointed seems to be the same cheap thin plastic as in the regular one, my first chamber cracked in 4 places after 28 hours use, yes 28 hours not 28 days. So I decided to try Dishwasher Save model $39 out of pocket instead of my insurance covering it. Airsence 11 was rushed into production and chambers are thin flimsy and crack in short periods of time, Chinese made junk charging top dollar for it. Had airsence 10 2 machines over 8 years never had problems like this. Looking for airsence 10 to replace my 11 they are just junk period. I see them at yard sales and estate sales can check the hours and see if they have life left. No reflection on this company they replaced it no question. It’s Res-Med that’s the problem refuse to admit their product is flawed an just plain garbage.

BEST Way to keep the water chamber clean
I bought TWO of these humidity chambers because I am LAZY. Every week, I take out the water chamber and replace it with my other one. Then the "dirty" chamber goes onto the top rack in my dishwasher. The dishwasher makes it "as clean as a whistle"! I use a sanitizer to clean my tubing and mask. By having 2 water chambers that I alternate, I can clean the water chamber with my next load of dishes without rushing to get it back in use the same day. This prevents mineral build up and allows me to stop using distilled water which is getting more expensive each month.

The standard water tub requires distilled water and replacement every 6 months. For $10 more I can use tap water, and replace the tub after 2 and half years. That's saves about $110 in tubs plus the cost and hassle of distilled water.
