Designed to give you "Freedom To Sleep" the barely there myTAP PAP does not require headgear. myTAP PAP's unique, adaptive frame is held in place by a soft, form-fitting mouthpiece that aligns and stabilizes the mask regardless of movement or position during sleep. myTAP PAP's nasal pillows rest gently on the entrance to the nostrils for a comfortable, successful night's sleep. Each FitPack comes with Small, Medium & Large nasal pillows.

myTAP PAP Nasal Pillows Mask eliminates many of the common problems associated with CPAP & BiPAP masks. If you've suffered with mask leaks and instability, painful pressure points or annoying strap marks; myTAP PAP may just be the solution you're looking for.

SOFT MOLDABLE MOUTHPIECE
myTAP PAP's Improved Stability Mouthpiece provides an exceptionally stable and secure fit without leaks or pressure points. The Mouthpiece is made of a heat sensitive, moldable polymer called ThermAcryl™ that is easily customized by warming in hot water and placing on your upper teeth. If you find you need to re-fit the mouthpiece simply warm it again and repeat the fitting procedure. Once fitted myTAP PAP's Mouthpiece will not move or leak and does not require headgear; it will fit snugly on your upper teeth without crowding the mouth or tongue.

NASAL PILLOWS
myTAP PAP Nasal Pillows are aligned precisely by the mask's Adjustable Frame so they can rest gently on the entrance to the nostrils, without excess pressure or deep insertion, for a comfortable, peaceful night's sleep. Each myTAP PAP Mask comes complete with three nasal pillow sets -- Small, Medium & Large -- so you're sure to get your best fit right out of the box.

ADJUSTABLE FRAME
With most nasal pillow masks the pillows are pre-set at a specific angle, by the manufacturer, so that they cannot be adjusted to fit an individual user. The myTAP PAP solves this problem with a highly adjustable, jointed frame that allows you to set the angle and depth of the nasal pillows to your best fit.

THE FINISHING TOUCHES
While a lot of thought went into myTAP PAP's major features; it's the smaller "finishing touches" that can sometimes make or break a CPAP mask design. With the myTAP PAP the finishing touches are as intelligently considered as the rest of the mask. Each myTAP PAP's exhalation ports are widely distributed along the mask frame to reduce noise and airflow disturbance. As a result myTAP PAP is one of the quietest masks on the market at 25.7 dBA. And the TAP PAP's short tube connects to your main CPAP tube with a swiveled, rotating, ball-and-socket joint that creates a highly flexible connection resistant to kinking, tugging and pulling.

Great Mask

Wow, this is the best mask I've ever used. The instructions were easy to follow, and the first time I tried it, I was able to sleep six hours. My teeth do hurt a little bit in the morning, but that may be because I tend to bite down hard. The hurt is not enough to bother me, though. The design also helps keep my mouth closed. I took off one star, because the appliance piece that fits into the mouth doesn't seem that sturdy. I may eventually look into getting a custom made appliance.

BEST CPAP DEVICE

I like the TAP/PAP mouthpiece so much better than the usual masks and headgear. I just wish I could get Medicare to cover it.

Good technology.

I wish the mouth piece had a little more play up and down or slightly bent to attach to nose much better.

Happy to find this product from regular supplier

My dentist recommended the TAP PAP system and set me up with the first set. He said I could do it on my own from there and he was right. It is so easy to fit the bite tray and change out the nasal pillows as needed. It is a cost effective system and I am no longer handcuffed to the the previous DME supplier (horrible). Direct Home Medical carries what I need and has frequent discounts.

Tap Pap nasal pillows CPAP mask

Wasn’t to sure about this strapless mask. It worked great after I followed the directions to seat it to my top teeth . Now I just pop it in my mouth and don’t have to adjust any straps and it stays in even when I toss and turn while I sleep!

Not as sturdy

I love the convenience of the tap pap. Unfortunately, the hinge that connects the mouth piece to the nasal chamber feels like it is already stripped. This usually only happens after 6 months to 1 year of use. I hope the manufacturer can come up with a stronger hinge. I will be so sad if I can’t use this anymore!

Life Saver

Won't sleep without it. I just want to share a couple of things that I hope will help others. 1. I do not try and mold the mouth piece provided, my dentist took a mold of my upper teeth sent it out to have a mouth piece made by the lab, (essentially a mouth guard), the lab then cuts off the mouth piece provided and attaches the new one. It's not cheap but so worth it. Now my dentist can adjust it to fit as needed. I had my first one 4+ years, and my new one 2 years, still fits perfect. Cleaning is so easy I just use a cleaner used for brace retainers every day. 2. I drape the hose over my headboard so the hose is not in my way at all. I did buy a sock/cover for the hose so I don't hear it moving at night. The hose never gets in my way and I can move freely. I tried using the head gears for the first 4 years and was using my CPAP less and less. My Sleep Doctor suggested I try this, so glad I did, I use my CPAP every night.

Hurts my teeth

It hurt my teeth and the nose pillow kept popping out. The tube points up over the face and I am a side sleeper so it it pulled everytime I turned over. I was hoping this would work for me, but sadly I will be returning it.

The nasal pillows irritate the inside of my nose very much and below my nose. I tried putting Vaseline around and slightly inside the nostrils but they still rub. Is there a product I can use to prevent the rubbing?

Pillows are Fine

The pillows are fine, though they do rub a little on the inside of the nose making it slightly sore. The mouthpiece does hurt my gums sometimes and wakes me up in the middle of the night!

Easy to use

I purchased this CPAP mask because of problems I have had with mask headsets straps.. This mask affords me the opportunity to use it without a headset. I find it comfortable and easy to use. A component of the mask is a mouth piece which, when fitted, works fine for me. I did need to get use to keeping my mouth closed because I was a mouth breather. I always used a full mask but found the nose pillows to be comfortable. I like the mask because it meets my needs.

Very Happy

I was worried about the mouthpiece fit, but it turned out fantastic...lightweight and very snug. I found the same result in the fit of the nasal pillows. I used another strapless/mouthpiece mask for years and felt anxious about changing, but this one is very comfortable and more secure than my prior choice. I'm not thrilled with the "exhaust" set-up, the air jets out away from my face without being diffused for a softer and gentler exhaust. It's a bit annoying for the other person or if my hand/arm is near my face. I'm working on a way to solve that issue, though, and it's only a minor one.

Easy Breezy !!

So easy to fit and use! Had another mouth piece/ puffs that took my husband and I both to fit! Simple parts. Can even adjust each night if necessary.

Almost perfect, but dental issues

I love love love not having headgear and the mask worked well enough ince I got used to it. The problem for me was the bite plate created too much suction on my teeth. It would be pull pretty hard when removing and after a few months of use one of my fillings broke and came loose and I'm pretty sure it was from using this mask. Which is so sad because otherwise I loved it. I went back to my old one and the old headgear hurts my ear, so the quest continues. If you have no fillings and strong teeth them the TAP PAP might work for you.

Great Choice

I ordered one mask when I ordered the newest Z, and found the mask to be perfect. I hate the straps that leave marks on the face for a half day, so I've always used one that didn't have them. I liked what I used, but had to adjust it several times during the night; still worth it. NO adjusting on this one. Once you spend 20 minutes fitting the mouth guard to the upper teeth, it's done. That night, just click the guard in, where it fits tightly, but doesn't hut, fit the nose pieces with easy multi-angle adjustments, then turn the plastic knob, which is large enough to easily access, and triangular, so that it's easy to turn, no matter how little movement you have. The gear stays in place all night, no matter your position; however, as with all c-pap gear, that air has to go somewhere, so sleeping on stomach, face in pillow, can't happen, but stomach sleeping possible with head turned, same as all others. BUT this won't need to be adjusted when you turn. You have to be programmed to keep your mouth closed, though. My other one was nose only, so I already keep my mouth closed. Ordered three more, 'just in case,' cuz you know they stop making these things just when you need another.

Works great!

Was referred to this mask by a friend. Was using nose pillows before but with head gear that was creating sores on my temples. Tried the Tap Pap, works great! It stays on all night.
