The SleepWeaver Anew Full Face Cloth CPAP Mask is designed around a unique dual-chambered cloth cushion that inflates gently with sleep therapy air to seal around the nose and the mouth. With only soft cloth touching the face, SleepWeaver Anew's breathable, skin friendly fabric provides a lightweight, natural, non-allergenic interface for full face CPAP & BiPAP users.

SKIN FRIENDLY SOFT CLOTH CUSHION
SleepWeaver Anew's dual-chamber cloth cushion inflates like a balloon during sleep therapy pressing gently against the nose and mouth to create a soft, leak free seal. Unlike the plastic and silicone of most CPAP mask solutions; skin friendly SleepWeaver cloth cushions feel cool and dry on the face, allowing the skin to breathe naturally, wicking away moisture, eliminating pinch points, and reducing pressure marks.

EASY TO LIVE WITH
The SleepWeaver Anew is super lightweight, durable and easy-to clean. To care for your Anew simply wash it by hand in warm water with a mild, non-abrasive soap and then leave it to air dry. SleepWeaver Anew is Latex and Silicone Free so it's great for allergy sufferers. It has been tested and approved for use between 4-30cm H20 on CPAP, BiPAP and APAP systems.

OPEN STYLE HEADGEAR
The Anew's headgear is designed to provide a comfortable, secure seal without requiring a forehead support or over tightening; in fact Anew performs better when the headgear is worn slightly loose. The open style of the headgear is ideal for people who wear eye glasses as it offers virtually unrestricted vision; it's perfect for people who like to fall asleep while reading or watching TV. Anew headgear is adjustable to a wide range of faces and is easily adjusted even with the mask on. Two quick-release clips make the SleepWeaver Anew easy to put on and take off.

LIGHTWEIGHT & FLEXIBLE
Like all SleepWeaver masks the Anew has no rigid plastic frame or silicone cushioning so the entire mask is free to flex, bend, compress and move with you as you sleep. In addition the Anew comes with a double swivel elbow so tubing can be channeled in any direction you prefer -- over the head, down the chest, or to the side -- so you can sleep your way without tubing interference.

QUIET EXHALATION
The mask's exhalation valve is made of a series of small holes on either side of the elbow so there is no direct stream of air to irritate bed partners and exhalation is very quiet.

JUST YOUR SIZE!
The SleepWeaver Anew is available in three sizes -- Small, Regular & Large -- to fit a wide range of users.

What is the difference between the SleepWeaver Advance, Élan and Anew?
The SleepWeaver Anew is a full face CPAP/BiPAP mask that is specifically designed for mouth breathers whereas the Advance and Élan are nasal masks.

Does SleepWeaver Anew come in different colors?
No, SleepWeaver Anew is only available in blue.

Is the SleepWeaver Anew a specialty mask?
No. The SleepWeaver Anew Full Face PAP Mask is intended to provide an interface for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) or Bi-Level Therapy. SleepWeaver Anew is intended for single-patient reuse in the home and multi-patient, multi-use in the hospital/institutional environment. This mask is to be used on patients greater than 66 lbs. (30 kg).

What fabric is the SleepWeaver Anew cushion made of?
The SleepWeaver Anew cushion is made from the same kind of high-quality fabric used in winter ski clothing. The part of the mask that touches your skin includes polyester, nylon, and elastane, creating a breathable material that helps wick away moisture and heat to keep you comfortable through the night. Most users have no issues with skin allergies or irritation when using this mask. The headgear is made from polyurethane foam, nylon, and Lycra, and it does not contain Mercapto-benzothiazole or Mercapto MX. The plastic swivel is made of durable polycarbonate. As with all polycarbonate products, it may contain trace amounts of BPA.

Does SleepWeaver contain latex?
No, SleepWeaver masks are not made from natural rubber latex.

Does SleepWeaver headgear have magnets?
No, SleepWeaver masks and headgear do NOT use magnets.

How long will it take me to become comfortable with the SleepWeaver Anew?
Most patients report after the first night using our SleepWeaver products, that it is the most comfortable mask they have ever tried! However, it can sometimes take longer than one night to become accustomed to new equipment, especially if you are new to PAP and Sleep therapy. Review the instructions that came with your mask closely; and watch our various video resources for tips and instructions as well.

Will SleepWeaver Anew work with my existing CPAP or Bi-Level machine?
SleepWeaver products work with all CPAP, Bi-level and auto-titrating systems. (A tubing adapter may be required for specialty CPAP Machines like Resmed's AirMini.)

Can I use the Sleep Weaver with a humidifier?
Yes.

Can I use Supplemental Oxygen?
Yes. We recommend that you connect the oxygen line on the outlet of the PAP machine. (For complete information review the documentation that came with your CPAP/BiPAP machine.

How do I clean the SleepWeaver Mask?
The SleepWeaver should be cleaned by hand washing with a mild, nonabrasive soap in warm water every other day. Never use hot water. Repeat washing until visibly clean. Hand wash the headgear weekly. Rinse well with quality drinking water and allow to air dry out of direct sunlight. Do NOT dry in a machine.

Does SleepWeaver Anew have an exhalation valve?
The exhalation "valve" on the SleepWeaver Anew is a series of very small holes that gently and quietly exhaust the exhaled air from the mask. These holes provide quiet operation without creating a jet of air that makes a lot of noise or can blow on the patient's bed partner. The leak rate provided by the exhalation holes is comparable to competitive CPAP masks.

Can the exhalation valve get plugged or clogged?
As long as the mask is properly maintained and washed the exhalation valve will provide consistent exhaust performance.

Can I sleep on my stomach while wearing the SleepWeaver Anew?
Yes. The air pressure in the mask will keep the mask inflated without pressure points. The mask continues to provide CO2 exhalation as long as a portion of the exhalation holes are exposed.

Can I read or watch TV while wearing the mask?
Yes. There is nothing in the field of view from the mask or headgear. This allows you to wear glasses and read or watch TV while wearing the mask.

I have dentures. Can I still wear the mask?
Yes. The SleepWeaver Anew can be worn by patients with dentures.

What if I want to travel with my PAP system?
SleepWeaver products are the smallest and lightest masks for travel available. They fold into a very small size when not inflated so they will fit easily into any carrying case you would use to travel with your PAP system.

Is this SleepWeaver Anew Mask FDA registered?
Yes.

Can I use the SleepWeaver Anew Mask if I have a broken nose of deviated septum?
We have had a number of patients with anatomic issues around the nose report using the SleepWeaver with good success. The pliable nature of the SleepWeaver allows it to conform to the patient’s facial anatomy even if it is not symmetrical.

Does the SleepWeaver Anew address the problems of people who have skin reactions to plastic masks?
SleepWeaver Anew is gentle on the skin. We have had a number of patient’s report that their skin irritation problems disappeared after switching to a SleepWeaver.

Does this mask fit a person who has a full beard?
Yes!

What is the recommended pressure for SleepWeaver Anew?
SleepWeaver Anew has been tested and approved for use between 4-30cm H20 on CPAP, Bi-Level and Auto-titrating PAP systems.

Of the many I tried, this is the only mask I can use.

This mask is truly a godsend. After two years of horrible nights, finally I can sleep. I wish all apnea sufferers knew about it.

Nice mask, but it leaks

The quality and comfort of this mask is excellent. However, I wasn’t able to get it adjusted to not leak air. The air was continually leaking in the gap between the sides of my nose up by my eyes no matter how many ways I adjusted it. I wanted this mask to work because I am allergic to silicon and open my mouth when I sleep. I hope the manufacturer does a redesign, perhaps with some kind of small baffles that fill with air to stop the leaks on the sides of the nose. There must be a way to improve on an already great idea so it fits more faces.

Comfort!

Works with my beard, easy to sleep, took a little while to get the straps correct, once accomplished, I recommend. My machine is set at 11, So no air leaks once my nose is in correctly.

TOO HIGH APNEA COUNT

I used the product for a couple of weeks. It got easier to adjust but continued to gush air & my apneas were 23+. The clip attachments are very had to work for me. That requires replacement.

great mask

The dreamweaver mask is very good if you have a problem with the plastic one. I have been using this for awhile and it has helped my reaction on my face from the other type. The only problem I have is being able to reach a rep on the phone. Thanks, S. Conforti

As a side sleeper I love my mask

I think I’m very lucky that I never used a hard mask, the sleepweaver was the first and only mask I’ve ever used. (In my initial sleep study, I tore the hard mask off and left the study way halfway thru …. I knew hard masks would never work for me. And because of back issues, I must sleep on my side.) So I’ve been using the Sleepweaver for 7 years now. I do have to adjust the position on my face to keep it from leaking, inspite of my by now pretty expert adjusting I sometimes have small leaks/hissing sounds. It’s not perfect but I can sleep!! And breathe! On my side! I encourage anyone reading these reviews to get one and try it for a couple of weeks before you give it up.

Waste of Time

I have a beard. Couldn’t get it to seal to my face. Returmed it. Reveived prompt and courteous refund from Direct Home Medical. Would deal with them again.

Great for me

I can understand the bad reviews but to be fair, hard masks are not for everyone, this one saved my life… I cannot tolerate hard masks, so it was either the sleepweaver or nothing. So if you’re in the market for an alternative mask don’t go by the negative reviews, but review it yourself.

My SleepWeaver did not fit properly. I called DirectHomeMedical. I was asked if I wanted a refund or another mask. I chose to get another mask. The other mask is back ordered, but I felt that my issue was handled professionally and I'm waiting for my new mask.

Worst CPAP Mask EVER!

I have been a CPAP user for about 15 years. This is the most leaky, noisy, ill-fitting and very hard to fit mask I have encountered. I cannot imagine how it ever got into the market. Product development and testing had to be bogus.

Mixed Emotions

After using about 10 days, the mask is light weight I like this, but it makes a lot of noise and it leaves marks on my face every single morning. I am not pleased with the marks, it takes hours for them to go away each day. I have tried to cushion the places it leaves marks, but then it won't seal correctly and makes more noise. I would love for someone from the company to reach out to me and help me with an idea to cushion these places on my face. Maybe I am doing something wrong because I want to like this mask.

This product is garbage

This product is cheaply made, jawbone clips are cumbersome to take on and off. Securing ring around hose entering mask broke 5 nights after purchasing. Mask leaks excessively up the sides of nose (yes, I had it fitted properly). $100 went right into the garbage!!!!!

Can’t use it

Looks great but leaks all night

Leaks all night

Non useable. Leaks so much you can’t sleep. Very disappointed.

Mask leaked

I have been using the sleep weaver nasal mask for years. Recently, I have been snoring with it, so I wanted to switch to a full face. Unfortunately, the mask kept leaking air. I even followed instructions.

Ashame

Mask leaks badly. It’s ashame that to make it work I have to glue slivers of foam rubber around the nose piece to fix leaks. The headgear lasts maybe a week before it’s way too stretched out. Despite these issues, this is pretty much the only mask I can use.

Needs re-designing!

I can see where this could be the most comfortable mask ever for side sleepers, but makes way too much noise from leaking. I could not get a good seal no matter what. Felt like it should have been one chamber instead of two, but maybe that would make it worse. I don’t know. I hate that I have to spend so much money on failures.

Only mask that works for me!

I have tried about EVERY mask on the market. With my Roman nose and sensitive skin they cause pressure sores even with any of the covers or pads. But THIS ANEW full face works. It's comfortable, little or NO leaks and easy to maintain. Only draw-back is that I'm on Medicare and some providers don't carry it.
