DreamWear Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear

This new style of nasal style just doesn’t work for me. I need the original nasal pillow style but cannot find.

The nasal cpap is great! Ver comfortable but my wife now complains that my mouth opens and causes me to breath heavy and is very noisy. I guess I need to tape my mouth shut.

The top piece does not clip into my original connector tubing. Otherwise it's fine. The company is easy to order from and shipments arrive in a timely manner

Been using this mask since '17 and been satisfied. The newer design I like much more with the simplified head strap. For those of you that are super picky you should know there's a pinhole on the plastic elbow on the top of the head that will make a little noise like a whoosh sound if up against a pillow while using the mask.

Air leaks from the mask some but, is quite comfortable.

I ordered the wrong mask, but thought I'd give it a try. Well I ordered the right one just a few days after. This mask dose not fit me well. It leaks air and whistles. I don't blame the company they were great and the delivery was fast.

This is a comfortable , well - fitting device - a vast improvement over any other one I've ever tried . It's not perfect , and it does exhaust a lot of air , but overall a very good experience . I would definitely recommend .

First of all, the company was great to deal with. Responsive to my questions and quick to process my order. I will definitely go back to them. This mask is not the same as my other "nasal pillow" masks. It does not have the little **** doodads that help you align the mask when you put it on -- just a slit that sits under your nostrils. It seals okay; but putting it on and getting the seal right takes a little bit of tinkering. And the headgear, with the hose hooked up over your head, LOOKS like a great idea; but it actually is not as easy to deal with as my old nasal pillows. In addition the mask is a bit of a pain to sleep on -- with straps that run along your cheeks.

First off, Direct Home Medical is wonderful so this review is not about service or ecommerce experience. I'm new to using a CPAP and am a restless side and stomach sleeper. I'd find that throughout the night the mask would shift or feel 'compressed' on one side which would change the sound of the air flow. I also didn't think the seal for the nasal cradle was good enough even after trying multiple sizes in the fit pack. I changed to the F&P Evora cradle mask and have found that it stays in place much better and is not as disruptive when I'm moving even with the front of face hose.

It's so comfortable, soft and manageable. You can hardly feel it and zero burn it marks around any part of the face. Like with other masks. I give FIVE STARS.

As a CPAP user for over 20 years, who nearly gave up using it because the masks were pretty much all unbearable, this mask is totally fabulous! No idea what the heck these 1 star reviewers are talking about?! I wear it all night long, sleeping on my back of either side, no problems whatsoever!

I was reluctant to use thee Cpap because how uncomfortable they are until I use dreamwear.

I purchased this nasal mask about 3 years ago. The headgear was/is exactly like the one pictured here. It worked ok, but not good. For back sleeping it was a 3, satisfactory. But, I'm mostly a side sleeper, so when turning to either side, this setup would leak and make noise, and generally I rate it a 2. Also, there is a large opening at the front of the nasal piece, that lets out expelled air as well as incoming air. That design allows a good amount of air to blow onto by arms and hands if they are not covered by a bed sheet. In the winder this is easily taken care of by putting your hands and/or arms under the covers. In the summer, I sleep with a light sheet, and often will throw that off as I sleep. When that happens, there is a good amount of air streaming from the nasal piece onto my skin, and that can wake me up, and it's annoying. An improvement to the nasal piece came a few years ago, as they introduced a nasal pillow, or nasal insert, type of cushion. That piece looks like, and even feels like, life savers gummies with a soft volcano top that directs fresh air directly into each nostril. It's surprisingly comfortable, especially compared to other similar devices from other manufacturers. This one feels very comfy and doesn't irritate my nostrils at all, like a couple of others do. However, the issue of leaking was still there. Then, another improvement. Phillips create a new, different, headgear device. I ordered it last week. FANTASTIC! The new headgear strap now makes this cpap nasal device a 5 star in my experience. The problem before was that the original strap, like the one pictured here, allowed the device to move too much when I would turn side to side or on my back. With the greatly improved new headgear, the whole device stays in place wonderfully even as I turn to either side or on my back. The difference in quality is amazing. I had put the original version in my lower drawer and have been using an F&P nasal device for the past 1.5 years. When I saw the new headgear for this device I decided to give it a try. I'm very happy to say, it's excellent, and it works. Now, this clever design has reached its potential. I've tried the nasal cushion, the one that has a large opening that sits under the nostrils, and it works pretty good. But, for me, that soft and squishy nasal pillow insert option works the best. My suggestion is that if you are interested in trying this device, then get the one that has the NEW and greatly improved headgear strap. You will know it by its shape. The new headgear is not a straight piece of material that has a little split piece. The new headgear attaches to the same location, but there are two "C" shape on the left and right, connected by a strap. That design nicely holds the see through/hollow silicone piece, so that it doesn't move around like the this old headgear strap does. To wrap. I now have this device with a large sized silicone head piece, with the new redesign...

No more strap marks on the face. Sleeps well.
