F&P Evora Full Face CPAP Mask with Headgear

I needed a replacement for the F&P Vitera full face mask I have been using for over a year, but started to develop a problem with sores on the bridge of my nose. I bought this Evora mask and the AirFit F-40 to compare. Both are similar hybrid masks with great reviews. I used each for 2 weeks and found both of them to be very good. In the end, I chose the F&P Evora because it has a slightly better fit for my face. I am a side sleeper, so I wonder if the very soft F-40 mask may deform too much in that position, causing slight leaks. Both masks have very quiet exhaust vents, though if your therapy is for high pressure (say 15 or over) I understand that the Evora performs better than the F-40. Every face is different so your milage may vary. The Direct Medical folks are great to deal with. Purchase with confidence.

First off I will say Direct Home Medical is a great company to work with. I didn't like the mask. I had to wear it pretty tight so it wouldn't leak. I woke up in the middle of the night with my nose killing me. I took it off and that was the end of the trial. I do like the F&P Elon 2. I have been using it for years. I tried the Evora due to mouth breathing, but it leaked too much.

The design of the mask is awesome. I've tried dozens of masks over a period of 17 years at least. I really never had a really good fit. They tell not to over tighten. That was the only way I was able to get a seal. The problem is I have a small nose. With the Evora, it has straps to tighten as well. Plus an extra small. I'm using the x-small and having great results. I have neuropathy in my hands. It was a little hard at first. Now I listen for the click and it's on and away I go. For me, this design is amazing. This was my first full face mask . I am kind of claustrophobic, so gave this a try . Unfortunately this did not work for me as I had leaks on top of my nose. I really liked the style of this mask as it fits your face securely. Will just keep trying to find a mask with DirectHomeMedical . I had no problems returning my mask !

Two things — I like the mask but……I feel like the nasal hole is not big enough. Often end up breathing through the mouth because I don’t like breathing through a pin-hole. (Small Mask Size). I don’t like the straps — leakage a big problem when I change positions. Also the velcro is peeling off on the edges. F & P I expect better on this aspect.

The most comfortable mask I have used. The best part other than comfort is, it doesn't leak, therefore I can sleep all night without have to re-adjust it so it doesn't leak anymore. Wish I had bought it along time ago.

The mask is great. The seal is only as good as the cheap velcro they put on this expensive mask. Shame on you F&P!!!!!!!!

I am using the Amara View full mask and I like it. I got the Evora and I liked it very much also, but too many dollars.

Doesn’t seal very well. Tried every adjustment possible plus all the cushions. Just doesn’t seal very well for me.

My first CPAP mask had a hard plastic nose and chin area. Aaand a forehead plastic tab that stuck up between my eyes. It worked I got good sleep. Wasn't a fan. My sleep Dr suggested this and it's amazing. Has its own soft hose which puts the harder heated hose away from my face. Also blows up the nose just fine. Doesn't leave irritated lines on my cheeks. I don't have to THINK about adjusting the nozzle (there isn't one) when I roll over or readjust. AND scored my first 90's and 3 100's on my sleep score. Costs a bit more than the junk mask. You pay for quality. This is designed very well. I've talked about it to at least 20 ppl. 5 stars. Do recommend.
