DreamWisp Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear

While I really like the headgear & mask, the way that it was shipped ruined the mask that was attached to the headgear!! It got so deformed it is unusable. I have been using the setup & I really like it. It takes some getting used to because I have a high flow rate of 16. So the adjustment is crucial to a good seal.

I've worn several different headgear for my Phillips Dreamstation (v1 & v2), all nasal masks, and this is by far the most comfortable for me. It's lightweight, comfortable on my face, and effortless to keep clean. I buy a new mask 2-3x a year and a whole headgear setup every year. My husband is a mouth breather so I was afraid this mask wouldn’t work but it is working out and he seems to be keeping mouth closed because his numbers are good. Never know if something will work until you try it!

I've been on CPAP therapy for less than a year as of writing. I couldn't get comfortable using the mask my insurance issued me with my machine. I had a gut feeling that what I needed was something like this and I was right! When I asked my insurance about this type of mask, they literally laughed at me, said there's nothing like this and then said to try the Internet. After some asking around and research, I found DHM and the DreamWisp mask. As if that wasn't lucky enough, the price was right! I really like how this whole set up is designed. The mask stays put at night, so I'm not waking up constantly to adjust it. I personally got used to wearing the nose cushion in a few nights. The vent for the nose cushion is positioned in such a way that the vented air doesn't ever blow directly into my eyes. The adjustable back strap stays adjusted because I can quickly release myself from the headgear using the magnetic clips or a quick disconnect from the hose. The silicone used in the headgear is thicker than the last headgear I was using so if I turn my head and am sleeping on my side, I'm not restricting airflow because I'm sleeping on it. The connector fits the heated tube I use and love, so I didn't have to switch tubes. And thanks to the universal standard for CPAP machines, I can still use all of this with my ResMed 11!

I’ve owned a few of these masks in the past, but this one made loud whistling noises no matter how I tried to adjust it. Very difficult to sleep. Will be asking to exchange it, as I’ve never had this issue with previous masks.

Wasted money but I bought 3 others before getting one that works for me. It may work for others....just not me

Great fit and since you can try all three sizes, you know when you get the best fit. I've tried many different headgear/mask combinations, but this one has minimum "facial footprint". It seals great and therefore very quiet, without blowing your nose up like a baloon.

This mask is not for side sleepers due to the magnetic closures on the sides by the jawline. Unfortunately, I’m a side sleeper and the mask hurts my face so bad I can’t use it. I bought a seatbelt shoulder pad I’m going to cut up and make sleeves to go over the magnets but I’m not sure that will even provide enough cushion to help. I like the nasal piece but the mask is horrible.

So far I have liked this mask for the simple fact that it allows me to move back and forth from side to side with minimal effort. The top mounted hose is great but the only thing so far is when I do roll over it sometimes breaks the seal and then when I wake up the cpap machine also confirms that it was a bad seal.
