The latest innovation from Philips Respironics, DreamStation 2 Advanced Auto CPAP is smaller than ever with a fully integrated humidifier, heated tubing, and advanced BlueTooth setup. It truly is made for supreme comfort every night, everywhere you sleep.

DreamStation 2 Auto CPAP Advanced is the next evolution in clinically proven¹, integrated sleep solutions. It’s designed to provide operational efficiencies and a simplified user experience, including flexible setup, a fully integrated humidifier and modem, advanced comfort features and patient management tools.

COMPACT DESIGN ALLOWS FOR EVERYDAY USE - ANYWHERE
With a decreased footprint and weight compared to the original DreamStation, the DreamStation 2 Auto is designed to be used every night, no matter if you’re home or on the road. Keep it on your nightstand at home, or tuck it away in your travel bag to stay on top of your therapy on the go.

COLOR TOUCHSCREEN
Utilizing a popular feature of the DreamStation Go machine, the DreamStation 2 Auto utilizes an intuitive color touchscreen to navigate menus and settings. From the new Ramp Plus settings to humidity levels and therapy data, it’s all available at the swipe of a finger.

RAMP PLUS FOR INCREASED COMFORT
Great for those that are uncomfortable falling asleep to higher pressures, Ramp Plus allows control over the ramp pressure. Specify the pressure you’d like the machine to provide during the ramp period, and when it completes it will start normal therapy pressures. If an event occurs during the ramp period that requires higher pressure, the machine will increase automatically.

INTEGRATED BUILT-IN HUMIDIFIER
Unlike other machines where the addition of a humidifier can make the system much bulkier and unfriendly to travel with, the built-in humidifier component of the DreamStation 2 maintains it’s overall manageable footprint so that humidification doesn’t have to be sacrificed when traveling.

Dreamstation 2

I received a Dreamstation 2 as a replacement for my recalled Dreamstation. I received the replacement machine the First week of February, 2023. I read many negative comments about the plastic water reservoir etc., so immediately ordered a spare reservoir and lid from Direct Home Medical. However after using the machine for almost 2 months this is the absolute best machine I have used going Bach to my first Philips Respironics machine in 2005. I have no negative issues with the plastic lid on the reservoir and find it easy to clean. Also no problem with refilling it and absolutely no leaks. It is quiet and I like its smaller footprint for traveling. Although at first I was apprehensive about the replacement Dreamstation 2, after almost 2 months of use and 4 previous good machines this one far exceeded anything I had hoped for and am totally satisfied.

I like the (new) Dream Machine!

I'm really liking this new machine. I really don't know about the folks writing the other reviews, but having used the original machine for quite a long time, the new one is pretty great! I also find that it is a bit lighted and the menu is laid out nicely on the top of the machine. being a wearer of glasses, I find that it's much easier to make the necessary adjustment right on top without my glasses. Time will tell but at this juncture, it seems to be a nice upgrade from the original.

This is the new, "2", version of the Dream Station. Not good.

I received this new Dream Station 2 from Philips as a replacement for my recalled Dream Station auto CPAP. This machine has a touch screen to adjust settings. Also, it uses a high gloss black body cover. All that results in finger prints, finger prints, all making the machine look dirty even after using it one time and needing to adjust something. It makes zero sense to use high gloss black on a tech machine that needs to, and will be, touched on a regular basis. A touch screen that does not tilt up, so that a user can read it while lying in bed, which is wear a user would be if they used a CPAP, is a very poor engineering decision. With that touch screen, it is small. So small that the letters are very small making the screen not easy to read, thus not easy to use. Older people tend to have worsening near sight focus. And, older people tend to need CPAP machines. So what does Philips do with their new, updated, CPAP machine? That's right, they put in a small touch screen with small lettering making it not user friendly, not at all. Then, my greatest complaint, and most ridiculous change, such that the engineer/s who designed it, and management who approved it, should be fired or sent back to school. Why in the world would Philips design a humidifier water tank that must be detached/removed from the main CPAP unit, in order to add water nightly? Those who use a humidifier for their CPAP usually need to add water nightly, or maybe every two nights. So, Philips decided that their previously easy to add water system, was not necessary. For this new machine, the user has to fully detach the water tank, then unlatch and open the lid, add water, put and secure the lid back on, then reattach the water tank back onto the main unit. WHAT in the world are they thinking?! I have two Philips CPAP machines, an older system 1, and the white colored Dream station. To add water on the Dream Station, my current and recalled machine, all I do is push a lid release button, fill with water, and simply push the lid back down. Done. With the new DS 2 machine, it's a whole freaking process that is ridiculous at how cumbersome it is. Having to detach the humidifier water tank just to add water is astoundingly ridiculous. It's as if the engineer who designed this has no idea that Philips already has CPAP machines that do not require such unnecessary and cumbersome steps. On top of that silliness, this new water tank is designed with very little space so that you can clean the water tank. The previous design was so easy. Simply open the lid, and then so easily lift out the water tank itself. It has a very large opening making for easy cleaning with access to all of the inner surfaces, which have very little nooks and grannies. This new water tank is ridiculous for many reasons. With this absurd humidifier water tank along with the other things mentioned, I would be returning this machine for a refund due to its poor user friendly design. I will keep ...

So called cpap

There is not one thing I like about this myself either, the touch screen does not work, you can not hook it to your SoCkean device for cleaning and the heated hose comes apart after 12 nights of use, now I am forced to use equipment that does not work properly (the dream station 2) and it will be another two years before I can get one that will work! I hate the Philips Company!!!

Not Durable Medical Equipment

Tis is poorly made of cheap plastic. My dream station was a great CPAP machine. The dream station 2 is a toy in comparison. I am done using Philips. This company has let a million people down.

forced to use humidifier tank when I never use it.

There's no way to use without tank. I never use the humidifier and now I can't remove the tank. Have to have an empty tank attached which makes it bulkier.

I would rate a zero if possible

Received as a replacement due to recall. Here's a list of the negative things about it. After using the original Dreamstation, I can't find any positives for this unit. They brag about lightweight, you can read that as cheaply made of lightweight plastic and very fragile. For this reason they come out of the starting gate with replacement lids for the humidifier. They knew the tabs that hold it in place would break. It was designed to fail and make money for the manufacturer. They aren't cheap for a thin, cheap piece of plastic, when you have to order one. Filling up the water tank requires you to completely remove it from the machine. Then gently, so as not to break the tabs, remove the lid. The lid detaches completely, so find a place to put it while you juggle the little tank and your water jug to refill it. Now, locate the lid you removed and gently, so as not break the fragile plastic tabs, re-insert the tabs and close the lid. Now, in your weary sleep deprived state, reinstall the tank by sliding it back onto the machine. Depending on your age, eyesight and dexterity, this might be simple... Or not. Cleaning - I have never seen so many unnecessary nooks and crannies to gather bacteria. I know this is unnecessary, since the Dreamstation 1 didn't have near as bad of a bacteria breeding ground. Function - I've read several reviews about the water not lasting through the night. That's not been the case for me. Instead, mine uses minute amounts of water. I have touched the plate under the humidifier and its barely warm, set on high humidity. This tells me that there's a serious lack of quality control for this unit. It also leaves me with dry, irritated sinuses. Touchscreen - Can't see it from a laying position. When you do look at it, the print is too small to see. Guess what Respironics, most people with sleep apnea are middle aged or older. Please get to know your customers. The functionality of the screen is also iffy, and slow to respond at best. I sure do miss the simple dial from the dreamstation 1. You could see and read it from bed. It faced you, not the ceiling. This is a major downgrade from their dreamstation unit. After my experience with this unit, the only way I'll buy from this manufacturer again is if the first dreamstation is available. I am very unhappy that this unit was the only replacement option for the company's failure to provide a safe sound reduction system in their initial dreamstation unit.
