This is a replacement Column Pair designed for use in all Inogen at Home Stationary Oxygen Concentrators. These removable metal columns contain the sieve beds used, by the Inogen at Home, to convert normal air into air with high oxygen concentration. Columns Pairs should be changed as needed -- generally every 18-24 months.
A Column Pair (Sieve Bed) must always be in place when the Inogen at Home is in use. Sieve Beds will wear down after prolonged use. In most cases Inogen at Home Column Pairs need to be replaced every 18-24 months; however in certain operating conditions earlier replacement may be required -- your Inogen at Home will let you know when it's time.
USAGE: Column Pairs should only be replaced as needed. Column replacement is a simple process, that can be completed at home, without any special tools. For full instructions see the "Column Change Procedure" in your the Inogen At Home User Manual. It is strongly recommended to purchase this item for immediate use, not for storage.
