Aloha Nasal Pillows CPAP Mask FitPack with Headgear

This is the worst nose pillow I've ever tried. It is so cheaply made, hard to adjust to any position where it will stay. The head gear goes OVER your ears on bith sides. Tried for 3 nights. Never again.

I have use the Aloha Nasal Pillow before and have no complaints. I am using this mask for a CPAP machine I use for travel because it light and does not take up a lot of space. I am using my older machine adapted with no humidifier. It has a motor life warning on the screen but is working fine. So I am retiring it to a travel unit, the travel machines are a little expensive for occupational trips!

In the picture, the sides come out onto the man's cheek and then go up. I'm a woman, and I guess my face is too small, as the sides sit directly by my eyes. The straps are Velcro and have no tension. They don't sit where they should and are too long for my face. Any time I try to make an adjustment, the Velcro gets caught on my long hair and pulls it out. It's a terrible design.

No flexibility to take the mask on or off. Very difficult to keep the right tension and very limited adjustment options could not make it work for me with the low AHI that I am used to. Bought it to switch to a mask that was supposed to be without rubber (neoprene). It was but that’s the only benefit. Look for others that are easier to fit and adjust

First time purchase DirectHome Medical. Easy shopping and fast shipping. The Aloha nasal pillows and headgear was a replacement for a set that has been discontinued. They turned out to be an improvement from my last setup.

Fits good for side sleeper.

I wore out my first Aloha mask and just received my new one. I owned a couple much more complicated CPAP headgears that cost a lot more, but not as good as the relatively inexpensive Aloha unit. The designer deserves a Nobel Prize for efficient design!

The good points: The mask fits well and does not irritate my skin like some others do. The bad points: While the mask works well for me, the exhaust port blows a constant fan of air out in a forceful manner. If I turn toward my wife, she says that her hair starts blowing around. She is not kidding - the airflow out of the front is like a small fan.

Been using this style mask for a while now and it is very comfortable and durable. Much better quality than the cheep knock off.

I have used a nasal pillow mask for over 23 years. Most lightweight and easy to fit mask.

My overall rating is 4.5. Superior to other headgear that I have tried over 20 years. The vents are quieter than Dream Wear and Swift FX as well as 3 older models. The double nasal pillows seal well below pressure of 12 - which is the leak limit with most pillow headgear. The adjustable straps are comfortable, stable, and less likely to shift. The top Velcro ring can tangle to the headgear during storage. It would be better if the top ring were changed to a clip. In addition, most manufacturer have switched to a combination of silicone and stretchy Velcro straps for the main headgear. These are minor complaints. I use a modified foldable backpack with a center strap stuffed with a lightweight pillow to stay on my side to keep my AHI score low. Headgear may require some tightening to prevent leaking when you are on your side. I use the CPAP 2 pillow, which is adjustable to keep my weight distributed evenly between my shoulder and neck. If you sleep face down and centered, I would change to a C or V shaped pillow or use side ramps to allow the center tubing to remain over the head. This is required to prevent leaks and remain comfortable.

I’m really happy with this mask. It was easy to assemble and fits very well. I can sleep on my side and have no leak issues whatsoever. It is comfortable and lightweight and I like that the tubing goes over the top of my head and stays out of the way better than my previous masks. The only thing i would change is the strap that goes around the back of the head. I wish it fit lower on the head - it sometimes slides up since it fits so high. Still, I highly recommend this mask.
