Battery Pack for OxLife Independence Portable Oxygen Concentrators
These batteries are designed for use with all OxLife Independence Oxygen Concentrators. Each battery will last approximately 2.75-hours at a Pulse Dose setting of 2 or 1.25 hours at a Continuous Flow setting of 2. Higher oxygen settings will reduce overall operating time.
Each OxLife Independence Concentrator can hold two batteries. Buy extra batteries for additional time away from fixed power sources.
Batteries will recharge in the concentrator whenever it is connected to AC or DC power. In addition batteries can be recharged outside of the concentrator using the Desktop Charger which is sold separately on this site. Each battery includes an LED "fuel gauge" to help determine current battery charge. These batteries include an updated and reinforced pull tab for easy insertion and removal from the concentrator.

For on the Go
I bought two of these batteries to go in my mother's portable oxygen concentrator(POC)as back-up batteries to the ones that came with the machine. We like to travel and having extra batteries for her POC gives us more freedom to move about without having to worry about finding an electrical outlet to recharge the batteries or to be VERY limited on when and where we can go. I would have given these batteries 5 stars except for the fact that when used on 2 - 2 1/2 liters of continuous oxygen flow, they do not last more than 2 hours or so. I wish they came in a longer battery life for my Mom's setting. We also no longer fly to our destinations because of the number of back-up batteries we would need to meet FAA guidelines. The cost of each one is simply prohibitive to buy more in order to fly. So, we drive now to where we are going and use these batteries to visit the sights and to shop. Having two sets let's us go for up to 5 hours without having to feel rushed before they run out of juice! Lastly, Direct Home Medical shipped these batteries out very quickly and they were well-protected in the package.
