ComfortSoft Plus (Super Soft) Nasal Cannula with 7 Foot Green Oxygen Supply Tubing
AirLife's (formerly WestMed) Comfort Soft Plus Nasal Cannulas (also called Super Soft Cannulas) feature super soft tubing around the face and ears to maximize comfort and eliminate the rubbing and soreness often caused by traditional cannulas. Each Comfort Soft Plus includes a 7-foot green, kink resistant oxygen supply tube with a standard connector end.
The unique elastomeric properties of Comfort Soft Plus cannula tubing minimizes friction and shear forces on the skin so that the cannula sits softly and comfortably behind the ear and on the face.
Comfort Soft Plus cannula nasal prongs are slightly curved to enhance and promote proper alignment on the face; and the included 7 foot tube is green for increased visibility and safety when in use.
USAGE: This cannula is disposable and should be discarded and replaced when it becomes soiled, discolored or the prongs become stiff. For best performance cannulas should be replaced at least once every 14 days. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

Airlife does not offer the same product as WestMed
The Airlife is shorter pronged, curved slightly more and the nose piece is larger. Sad because the WestMed fit perfectly. I need the longer straight prongs to go past the opening of my nose.

great, but...
I really like these cannulas. They’re the only option soft enough for me, though I still miss the Wesmed ones. My only issue is that after a few days, fluid builds up at the entrance, creating an unbearable noise, especially at night. Once I remove the fluid (which feels a bit greasy, not like water), the tubes quickly become hard and uncomfortable.

These are Very Uncomfortable cannulas
I ordered West Med 0556 canula's. I received a substitute brand that are not at all comfortable. Not happy at all with what I received. Don't order these. You'll be disappointed. The nasal tips are short and stubby.

Allergic Reaction
The advertising for this product led me to believe that it was hypoallergenic. Unfortunately, I broke out in a rash around my ears and cheeks where the tubing touched my skin.

Comfortable but significant issues .
Three issues are drawbacks : the slide, which adjusts the bollo tension, doesn't stay put. The tension keeps loosening causing the cannula to slide around the face. This cannula does not fit securely to an Inogen concentrator. It falls off. This cannula does not fit securely to some O2 tank regulators.

Very comfortable fit
The ComfortSoft really is comfortable! The tubing and cannula are very soft, but the connection at the end is appropriately rigid. The only reason I took off one star was because of the way the tubing smells, which may decrease with time and cleaning.
