Companion 5 ECO Oxygen Concentrator (DISCONTINUED 2025)

This Caire unit is *much* quieter than my Invacare Perfecto2. It worked perfectly out of the box, and I like the reasonably priced O2 monitor add-on as well. The rep at DirectHome was very responsive and helpful. UPS shipping delivered on time, with the unit arriving in perfect condition. This is my second purchase from DirectHomeMedical. I'll always check with them first when I have future health equipment needs.

Both only lasted 12 months on each ,,, if you’re lucky

This concentrator puts water in the tubing and cannula. I did a follow-up purchase of new humidifier bottles but the water still accumulated. I have used another brand of concentrator for the last 3 years and never had this problem. Additionally, the "gross particle filter" is a joke.

It worked great right out of the box, then at about 2 months the low oxygen level alarm went off and it will not operate without it coming on. Caire doesn"t really want to deal with it and expects the customer to pay to ship it in for repair. Not a great experience when you are oxygen dependent.

I was initially very impressed, particularly because of its low noise level. But 1 week later it lost the ability to generate O2. The alarms are just as quiet as its operation - you would never hear them. If that happened in the middle of the night I might have died.

First unit received was damaged in shipping but the second replacement was shipped quickly and is working fine.

Got here quickly. Does have a gross particle filter needs cleaned weekly.

The Companion 5 ECO Oxygen Concentrator Bundle has been working very well. It's noise level is much less than our previous machine. So far it has been wonderful. Shipping was fast and it arrived packaged very well. We are very satisfied and hope that it lasts a long time. Dealing with DirectHomeMedical.com was very easy. So much quieter than the Devilbiss 5LpM that I had problems with after 3 years of light duty. Plug and play.

This is my second unit. One upstairs, the other downstairs. Quiet compared to other brand units I’ve bought in the past. Also, priced well.

I have a concentrator supplied by my insurance; but I bought this one as a backup. Now I use them both pretty regularly. I have one at the front of the house and one in my bedroom. Works like a charm. Thanks Direct.

Very good customer service. This is my "GO TO" seller for supplies and equipment. The Companion 5 ECO Oxygen Concentrator Bundle - 5 LPM is very quiet, easy to use. If I can figure out how I would like to install them and leave them in our automobiles.

We bought the Companion 5 ECO Concentrator. It worked right out of the box. However, we get the solid yellow light routinely which indicates low oxygen. Turn it off and on and it clears for a while. Cannot run more than 5 minutes without the yellow light.

I've had mine for about 3 years, and it's been great since Day One. It is very, VERY quiet! Also, it doesn't make an ear-splitting beep when you turn it on (for me, at least, that is a big plus.) It rolls easily on its roller feet. I highly recommend this machine!
