Deluxe Style Chinstrap for CPAP Therapy

I liked the elasticity and how the overall fit was on my head. Unfortunately though, the fabric was so rough and scratchy that I could not use it. I tried to for a couple of nights and ended up with some red bumps in a line down one of my cheeks, exactly where the strap had been. I’m disappointed since I haven’t liked the fit or feel of other styles of chin straps that have softer fabric. This might work for you if you don’t have sensitive skin like me.

Didn't work for me. I think no chin strap works for me as I tried 2 already. Direct Home Medical is great for delivery though. Good company.

This product is borderline useless for me, and would probably fail over time. I'll order something else and throw this one away. I doubt that whatever I choose next could possibly be worse than this. Details: 1) It's too short. I'm not huge, nor is my head, but I have to really stretch this thing to make the velcro pads meet. 2) It's too wide.It reaches from near my adam's apple to my chin. The upward pressure on my throat makes my obstructive apnea way worse. If I move it forward, it wraps around my chin, interfering with my mask. The only way that I can use it is to fold it in half or thirds under my chin. 3) The two provided auxiliary straps aren't long enough. Again. my head is not overly large, but I really have to stretch the small bands to make them reach; then they put a lot of pressure on my head. 4) The 'hook part' of the velcro is really strong! Consequentially it begins to shred whatever it hooks onto. 5) The 'aggressive' velcro hooks really like to attach to the fabric of my mask's headgear. That's not just a nuisance; it begins to shred the headgear.

This is the most comfortable chinstrap I have ever worn.

Once I figured out how to use the strap over my full face mask, my leak number approached zero and my events per hour were back under control. I just needed help keeping my mouth shut.

Good product . Does the job

For me this is the only chinstrap that has been effective AND it is so comfortable that I sleep well. It is so very easy to fit and put on. And it stays on!

It is too small and have to really stretch it to get it to fit. Then it becomes uncomfortable.

It's soft and comfortable. Without it, I have mouth leaks using a nasal mask. I modified it by attaching elastic straps directly to the front and back. My hair kept getting caught in the velcro on the straps that came with the chinstrap.

I’ve had so much trouble finding a good chin strap. Constant loosening and dry mouth. No CPAP equipment is “attractive,” but this really does the job! Super velcro that really holds!

This simple elastic band type chinstrap works best for me to prevent leakage in combination with my OptiLife Nasal Pillow mask.

Put a stop to chin drop and snoring.

this is the only chin strap I found to work for me. Yes, I did order the smaller size because all others were too big. Yes, it can become uncomfortable. Depending how much I move around. It presses on the lower ears and causes a little bit of painful area. I found that I have to adjust my cpap full face mask due to leaking to accommodate the added thickness of this one compared to others. However, the others didn't work and this does!!
