Quick Connect Hose Tubing Connector Adapters for CPAP & BiPAP

I have been a CPAP user for over 20 years. These disconnects have been discontionued by most CPAP providers, Reason unknown. This is probab;y one of the most convient methods to disconnect your CPAP hose if you have to get up in the middle of the night.

That other big CPAP seller, for years, sold an adapter I absolutely depended on under part no. RES016-1. Recently the manufacturer discontinued that. This one is not only a perfect replacement for it, it’s also cheaper (in bulk). It’s for 22mm hose (different looking on each end because one end is male and the other is female). I’ve now tested one for a night and will be buying more to keep on hand as I tend to go through them since I use them as a quick connect.

They had these, just like the ones I got years ago, and at a less (much less, if bought in numbers) than exorbitant price. I had purchased Delrin rod, thinking I’d need to spend hours per item making them on the lathe. At least I still have the rod, and now have adapters that fit as they should.

I understand that the connection can't be so loose that it comes apart during sleep, but it should be a quick disconnect to get up in the middle of the night to hit the toilet. I wonder why no one has designed an inline quick connect like the Resmed connectors on the Airfit. That one is the best.

The photo isn't all that clear, but when it says quick connect, i think quick. This is not quick; it's not quicker than any other connector. I think I just wasted a few bucks.
