normally, I use a different brand, but thought I would try this one and sadly purchased a quantity of 10, that I will suffer through, but the cord is so stiff on the part that goes behind my ears that even a cushion wouldn’t make it more comfortable

I was a little nervous ordering this product when I read some of the reviews. Yes, it does not have the soft part and so tends to be more rigid than what I'm used to. But I only use this cannula on the small pulse device that I use for traveling. With that device, I used to hear a loud "swush" whenever I lay on my side - which severely disrupted my sleep. That sound it totally eliminated when I used this cannula, and I can finally sleep. Of course, it would be nice if they also added the "soft" feature in more permanent oxygen situations, but this is definitely good enough for my situation.

When using oxygen 24/7 one gets used to hearing the continuous flow of air but the quiet cannula truly works. Thank you. Lavena Bollinger

Love the cannula. First time trying

I looked at the pictures and this look like a small close together canula. It was neither. Also they won't take them back open, which I get but it costs more to return than to keep. Back to amazon for me.

Hated it. Hard tubing over ear. Could not wear due to being painful.

Looks identical to other cannulas, but was way quieter. I bought because the wife is up to 4lpm now and the sound of the air through the standard cannula they provided was so loud we couldn’t sleep. We can’t barely hear the air now

Bought these for my mom, she's had this type before. Bought the package of 5 so, it was a good deal money wise. The problem is they are not as quiet as they should be. We have purchased this brand because of how quiet they usually are. This batch is very gurgle-y sounding which is not typical for the 1600Q

I thought these were soft tubing. I need a soft cannula that will go up to 6 liters of oxygen.

I wanted to try this quiet cannula because my regular one's "whooshing" sound was very noticeable when lying down to sleep. The Salter 1600Q is completely silent!

Nose pieces were sharp and caused bleed inside nostrils after 5 minutes use. Threw them all away.
