Respironics Gray Smooth Bore Hose Tubing for CPAP & BiPAP Machines

I've been using these hoses since I started CPAP therapy in early 2005 and since they're getting harder to find, I decided to try to find a few more to add to my stash of supplies. I was pleased to find them at DirectHomeMedical.com and at a reasonable price. They're very durable and since I take very good care of my equipment, they last a long, long time. Function is ok. But I find the hose very stiff. It makes it too easy to pull the CPAP off the night stand when the hose is this stiff.

This is a pretty good hose It turned out to not be the one I was looking for.

The new hose is gray where my old one was clear so this was new and exciting for me to have a different color. The gray does match my CPAP machine much better then the clear.

I bought 3 of the gray tubing to switch out the white Tubing. Unfortunately I should have stayed with the white and pay the additional cost. Within one week Of use I had to throw away one of the tubing due To leaking air. I have had the white tubing For one year and no tear or wear on it. Sorry I did not Stick to what I know works!

The hose/tubing is too rigid; not flexible enough, causing air leaks when ones head position is changed.

The tubing is significantly more stiff than the white tubing and the connectors are more stiff / harder to get on to the CPAP machine. Direct Home got them to me very quickly.

The 6' length tubing is the perfect size for my needs. It holds up well and I have never had any problems with the ends pulling away from the tubing. I take it off my CPAP every morning and attach it every night. Direct Home Medical gets my items to me very quickly.

Nice weight to the hose. Most of the hoses out there are now lightweight and never seem to unfurl from their folded state that they were packaged in. This one is heftier and smoothed out to hang the way my original hose did. I will be buying more of these.

You can tell the difference between this & the regular hose. It's easier to dry daily & there should be a lower incidence of mold.

Connectors on each end are a little stiff and hard to attach and remove. This probably ensures a tight fit and no leaking.

I have been a CPAP user for 6 years. In that time, I've had way too many mistakes made by appliance providers under my insurance. In addition, these companies jack up the prices to get the insurance companies to pay more. Not only does Direct Home Medical sell the same appliances and supplies as the insurance companies approved providers, but without going through the insurance company I am now paying less for the same supplies than I did for my insurance copay amounts. Plus, they send out their shipments immediately. I usually receive my supplies before I expect to. I couldn't be happier with Direct Home Medical.

These hoses are reasonably hardy, last a long time if not abused, and are easy to clean. However, they do need to be replaced occasionally.
