IQ Blue Gel Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear

This mask seemed like a dream come true. It's comfortable and reasonably priced. The problem is air comes through and hits me in the eye. I've tried making it tighter. That didn't work. Now to find something else.

Mask is great, new style headgear fits good

I have used this mask for 24 years. Once they got the gel firmness/softness right (I served as a volunteer tester for a while), it's been great. I believe that people complaining about leaks might benefit from making better use of the malleable embedded wire and from using a third anchor point at the top; I use the short hose's attachment to the top of the headgear for this purpose, but there's also a strap available. I always discard the current headgear because it can cause problems if you have long hair, but a decade ago I bought out Sleepnet's inventory of the EZ Cap headgear when it was being discontinued; now there's a bit of concern that I'll outlive that inventory. One concern was that a few years ago the IQ started coming apart - gel separating from the frame - long before the gel wore out. But, evidently they have fixed that problem, because my current mask has lasted eight months, so far. Insurance refuses to cover it routinely, calling it a "special order" item, but I'm glad it's available on this site.

Mask is most comfortable of all. Its cushiony feel, latex free, adjustable mask allows you to adjust to contour of your face without compromising full air flow. Love it!

This is a wonderful mask. It is firm at first but after a week or so it is very soft and pliable. I love the fit.

The headgear is horrible.

Not as soft and pliable as ilustrated. Air blows up into the face and eyes, causing dryness. Not for me.

I found this product over 10 years ago and its the one that I come back to every time I need a new mask. Easy to use, no sore spots on the bridge of my nose or forehead, less parts to break in the middle of the night. I usually get at least 6 months of use out of each mask. Great product at a reasonable price.

This one is so unique. After been using and testing different CPAP masks of all stiles, NOTHING has been so good, comfortable and efficient as this. At the beginning I thought it didn't work, but then realized the option of modifying its shape to better accommodate it to my ergonomics. It is so good that I ordered another one as a backup.

The product never adopts to the shape of my face. Continuous leaking until I put it so hard that, by couple of hours, it would hurt me. Good idea with the soft gel, but not a good mask (the plastic portion)

Could not get the thing to seal around my nose. Every time I moved I had to readjust. This woke me up every time I moved. Did not get a good night's rest. I am returning it.

For me, it was a poor fit and design. Very uncomfortable. It may work fine for someone else.

This mask is one-size fits all, and it is one of the few masks that has actually worked for me. Unfortunately, my local provider does not offer it, but I'm happy to buy from Direct Home Medical.

It has a poor gel protection, producing pain and disconfort after few hours by the plastic frame over my nasal bridge, so I wake up many times during the night to replace.

The blue gel nasal mask was a comfortable fit and the head gear fit nicely. I have always had a full face mask and wanted to try something smaller but I just couldn't get it to not leak for me. I truly enjoy the 30 day guarantee so I could try something new but for me I'm just too use to a full face and will be ordering one of those instead. Great service...
